Rate My Space is a tool for creating healthier and more productive workplaces
A growing body of research shows that the physical buildings in which we work, live and play have an impact on our health. The vision for Rate My Space is to support the development and operation of spaces which enhance health and wellbeing of occupants.
How does it work?
Through our online portal, staff complete an engaging evaluation related to their work space. They receive self empowering tips on how to create healthier spaces. Our algorithms generate key human insights to their buildings based on the results for organisations, with improvement pathways. We can generate cross-portfolio benchmarks or assess single buildings.
What does Rate My Space Measure?
Five evidenced-based dimensions including workspace amenity, indoor environmental quality, physical wellbeing, collaboration and productivity, and as mental wellbeing are used to generate a report with customised feedback. From these five factors, we also determine an overall wellness index.to see how your workspace/building stacks up
Who & What is it used for?
Rate My Space can be used by companies, architects, engineers, facilities and property managers to understand the human experience in different working environments. This data can then be used to develop tenant’s engagement, health, and wellbeing, improve the existing space, plan retrofits or guide new buildings
What are the benefits?
Healthier and more engaged staff at the individual level translates to a better corporate culture, and higher bottom line at the organisational level. Our tool can also evaluate the effectiveness of various building projects, whether it be a new office move or just minor workplace change. Rate my Space helps you understand your people by valuing and measuring the human experience.
We are currently in beta testing phase in partnership with Curtin University across 100 buildings. We are developing a series of benchmarks from this project for Rate My Space. Future costing will vary depending on the size of the project.
We’re launching early 2017 – Watch this space!
